Interviewed Dec 2009 (took a day)
It was a well organized interview, full day. They were more interested in the fit with the company than the skills and experience you would bring to the job. They let me know within a week that they had postponed the job search for the position I interviewed for.

Interviewed Apr 2008 in Englewood, CO (took 2 weeks)
First I was contacted by a representative in Chicago, IL for a preliminary phone interview. After successfully passing my first meeting I was called in for a formal interview at corporate headquarters. I met with a series of 6 people (2 at a time) with each group comprised of a different specialty. The questions asked were directly related to active projects the hiring position was going to work on and the overall feel of the interview was fairly casual with intelligent conversation about environmental topics.
No trick or boilerplate questions were asked like the generic "ehm, how would you say you handle conflict?". All questions were pertinent to the position and my interviewers were great about providing a snapshot of the overall company and what kind of work culture I could expect if hired.

Interviewed Feb 2009 in Toronto, ON (Canada) (took a day)
Be prepared to list other offers you have and they will beat the wages offered by the competition. There were less behavioral type questions and more work experience questions even though the interview was conducted by an HR representative. They are looking for people that they can get along with and work with as much as technical skills.

Interviewed Feb 2008 in Houston, TX (took 2 weeks)
The initial interview was via phone with one of the top regional managers of the company. It lasted for an hour and was quite detailed. The interviewer was a veteran and a top notch engineer in the field of oil and gas industry, so the interview ranged from mundane to highly technical. The questions ranged from my personal interest in the field of environmental compliance to regulatory knowledge, to industrial know how, aswell as the global change in climate. The 1:1 interview in the office environment came 2 weeks later and was as detailed, with 4 separate individuals asking the same range of questions. My perception of the people was that they needed someone to start and learn on the go, and were impressed with a person who showed an interest in selling his/her skills openly, and with minimum pushing.

Negotiation Details
I negotiated for a bonus equal to a month's pay, which was initially not offered, as well as an increase of $6000 more than offered. I was given these increases without too much back and forthness, and i consider the main reason, again, my ease of selling the skill sets they wanted. The main advice would be: be truthful and honest about what you want and why you want it. If you have passed all their tests and the offer is on the table, they want you, and are willing to play the negotiation game - within reason. Just don't go overboard, and don't sound greedy. It can backfire. However, aim for a number that you believe you truly deserve, and if it is much higher than the number they gave you, then maybe this is not the job, or the position for you, and there is no harm in letting them know.
