I applied online. The process took 4 months - interviewed at CHRISTUS Health in September 2012.

    Interview Details

HR contacted me in July 2012 and again in Sept 2012 to set up an in person interview. The positions I had applied for off the company web site were for a Sr level PM with multi-million dollar PM experience, and the other for a EDW PM with multi-million dollar PM experience and vendor management experience. Was very disappointed in the HR rep and the hiring process overall. HR rep was very young, inexperienced, and frustrated. She obviously did not have the support of the internal management team when it came to recruiting. The interviews were NOT conducted by the people she identified when setting up the interviews with me. And both interviews turned out to be for Infrastructure PM positions, which I have no interest in, nor am I qualified for, since my experience is in SDLC Project Management. When I asked the panel conducting my interview why I was being interviewed for a position other than the one I had applied for, I was told that they were "borrowing" PM job descriptions from their San Antonio office, and that the job descriptions were not accurate in terms of what they were looking for in Irving, TX.

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at CHRISTUS Health in September 2011.

The interview process was very stupid especially with 1 particular hiring unit with much of them asking the same ridiculous questions. It appeared that because I had skills and education, they were intimidated by me and I was so happy they did not offer me a career opportunity. What a joke!

I applied online. The process took 4 months - interviewed at CHRISTUS Health in September 2013.

    Interview Details

Was called by internal HR to set up an in person interview on two different occasions over a 3 month period. Found the HR recruiter very rude and very unprofessional both times. Had to call to confirm the date/time of the interview, never received an email confirmation for either int.

    Interview Questions
    • Job description stated min 10 years Sr level PM experience managing multi-million dollar IT projects or process re-engineering projects. When I interviewed, it was not with the hiring manager that HR provided me either time. In addition, the team that did interview me explained that the role was an IT infrastructure PM role, and that the job description was borrowed from their San Antonio office, and did not reflect what they were sourcing for in Irving. Since I am a Software Development PM, not an infrastructure PM, I was not qualified for either role that HR set up interviews on.   View Answer

    Interview Details

I had a phone interview with a very nice woman who does the screenings. After I gave her my experience, she thought I'd be perfect for the job. She set up a f2f interview for 02/13/13. Me and several other candidates took a tour and were ushered into a waiting area. The people giving tours are from CareerBuilder. In my interview, the recruiter did most of the talking. I answered all her questions and asked a few of my own. I talked about my previous positions and duties, my understanding of their expectations. I was then taken downstairs to wait for results. They had the career builder rep come in to tell me that she was told I was not a good fit. Why? They claim I wasn't engaged enough and I didn't look professional. I am not understanding this decision as I had every qualification required and 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry. What exact engagement level are they looking for because I thought the interview went well. As for not looking professional, I was wearing a long dress, it's not like I had on jeans. I walked out disappointed. I've never been told I didn't get a job because of appearance. There needed to be elaboration on "you're not engaged enough".
