Technical Analyst Interview

Technical Analyst

I applied through college or university and the process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at CIBC in February 2013.

Interview Details – Went through my schools coop program and it was a 30min interview. Asked generic questions and questions based on my resume. Majority of the interview was behavioral based questions and then just 1 or 2 technical questions. Overall was a hard /easy interview. After the interview i was told i would get a response back by the following week.

I applied online and the process took 2 days - interviewed at CIBC in January 2007.

Interview Details – Very thorough and tiered. The first step was a phone interview, followed by an in person group interview and then a 1:1 interview. The first in person interview was heavily focused on behavior profiling with past experiences and theoretical questions. Very structured and read step by step from a template and graded. The second in person interview is technical.

Interview Question – Describe an incident when you lost your temper or engaged in an argument with peers or superiors.   View Answer
