Interviewed Nov 2011 in New York, NY (took 3 months)
Applied online and was interviewed over the phone and then brought in for an in-person interview. Typical interview questions, best experiences, worst experiences. After first interview, was called and said the position was put on hold. Two weeks later, called again and told the position was once again a go. Was told I was the main candidate, but when brought it, saw there was a list of people before that had interview. Additionally, caught the Interviewer in a couple of lies about the position and reporting structure, which I found strange. HR made a point to say they would call either way when a decision was made, and to please inform them if any other company made an offer during the time it would take to make an offer. Sent a Thanksgiving and Christmas letter to HR, no response. A month later, the position was taken down. No word from them, just felt it made a bad impression on the company as they made a point to say they were going to keep me in the loop and to please make sure I kept them in the loop if I got another offer.
