I applied through an employee referral and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at COUNTRY Financial in June 2014.

Interview Details – Applying through employee referral. The whole process took 2 weeks. Quite comfortable interview process. Talked to HR, hiring manager and some other employees. First just go through the resume and talked about my experience, and then comes some technical questions. The on-site interview process is quite long but not make me feel very tired.

Interview Question – No difficult questions. Just normally strength, weakness kind of questions.   Answer Question

I applied through college or university and the process took 2 months - interviewed at COUNTRY Financial in February 2013.

Interview Details – First round was just a general interview with an HR representative who was very friendly. Second round was with my potential supervisor and was more of a conversation than an interview which was absolutely great. Noticed that the supervisor stopped to speak with the receptionist after I left. She may have asked the receptionist about our interaction, but I think that's standard interview etiquette to be friendly with the receptionist.

Interview Question – Nothing was unexpected to me. Just practice your standard questions. Might be different depending on what department you are in.   Answer Question

I applied through a recruiter - interviewed at COUNTRY Financial in October 2013.

Interview Details – 2-3 interviews. They want you to sell to all your family and friends. After you have exhausted all these people, you definitely have to have a niche. I was led that I could focus on financial products and life and annuities. But you have to get 12 new policies a month or your salary is deducted

Claims Representative Interview

Claims Representative

I applied online and the process took 3 weeks - interviewed at COUNTRY Financial in January 2014.

Interview Details – I applied online in early January. I received a call a few weeks later to set-up a phone interview. Prior to the phone interview, I was sent the online testing link to complete. The phone interview was conducted by an HR recruiter who told me I did fine on the tests and when on to go over the job qualifications, work hours and salary. We discussed my resume then she asked me if I was interested in coming in for a face to face interview. I said yes and was contacted later that day to schedule it. I interviewed the following week with the two Claims supervisors. The supervisor reiterated the job qualifications and expectations as well as asked me to discuss my previous experience as a Claims CSR and Claims Handler. They asked me what I was looking for in a supervisor and work environment. After the interview was over, I was told they would be making decisions the following week. The next day I received an email and phone call to update my online application for a background check. A week later I received a call from one of the supervisors who interviewed me asking if I was still interested in the position and making me an offer. I accepted.

Interview Question – There was nothing difficult about the interview questions. I was expecting the behavior based questions but didn't get any.   View Answer

Negotiation Details – No negotiation. Salary was disclosed during the phone interview.

A simple answer will not be what they are looking for. They really want a person who understands why they do what they do and not just what.
