I applied online. The process took 4+ months – interviewed at CRISIL in January 2012.
Two rounds - one phone round and second was video conferencing... the hiring process took an eternity.. the HR was lackadaisical..... it took about 4 months... rescheduled my interview some 8 times.... the interview can be face to with the directors if you are in the city which has a CRISIL office....
No negotiation possible... HR is like a stonewall

very good ; above average finance knowledge ; behavioural,conceptual and technical . if you don't know the answer then tell him,don't worry about that and be enthusiastic. express your feeling like you are ready to learn.

MS Excel based test on Financial Analysis skills. It had 5-6 questions related to cash flow linking, valuation, bond yields, beta. I applied online. The process took 2 weeks – interviewed at CRISIL (Mumbai (India)) in December 2014.
The first step is an online aptitude, wherein there are 4 section and each section is time bound. The sections are Qualitative, Quantitative, English, Finance, Essay. Finance section is slghtly tedious as it requires calculation and a calculator is not allowed. After clearing Apti, there is a HR interview which basic HR interview without any twisted questions. Then follows the technical interview. Here, you are expected to know basic concepts in Finance as you will tested well on it. Overall comparatively, the selection process is simple

First round is a online test where it consists of aptitude reasoning and English and asked to write a comprehension which has to include some keywords given
second round is personal interview mostly about the business and economic news, and the questions regarding the subject are mostly basics.

Two rounds..one HR and another technical...quite straight forward...why CRISIL..why you want to switch..family details..long term goal...How look at credit risk of company...not much difficult..overall the process was quite smooth. very happy with HR.

Crisil has a really cool office building. Their interview process consists of two rounds an aptitude test and interview. The aptitude test had basic English and quantitative aptitude.
It was kind of easy. In the interview they ask you some finance related technical questions. So brush up on basic finance before you go.

I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks – interviewed at CRISIL (Buenos Aires (Argentina)) in November 2014.
There were four stages. A computer-based test including four minor financial analysis cases to do on excel and an essay on a finance related topic. Then, a one on one interview with an analyst who would ask financial analysis technical questions in English and about your background. Finally, an interview with one of the team managers followed by an interview with HHRR who makes the actual job offer.
Reasons for Declining
I had already planned my vacations and the pay and job wasn't worth canceling it. They weren't willing to give a license either.
