Interviewed Mar 2010 (took 4 days)
Once you have filled out the application online, you will recieve a phone interview. They set you up with a face-to-face interview with a supervisor of the store you are hiring into. You must submit to a drug test and a criminal background check. Once that is complete you have paper work to complete online. You are paid for your training, and the company pays for the drug test and criminal background check.

Interviewed Dec 2009 in Charleston, SC (took 1 week)
I was contacted by a recruiter and told that my supervisor would contact me in a few days. They contacted me and set up an interview for me in-town. I went and after a short time talking with the supervisor, I was informed that a team lead would be in town to train me the next week. I was handed my scanner and told to go over the online training again. I now know that this was not typical for this company and that supervisor no longer is with the company for a reason unknown to me.

Interviewed Jun 2011 (took 3 days)
The website had captured information then cliched up in the process. I had to create a new profile with a different email address to overcome this. I spoke with 2 different hiring representatives. The second rep did not refer me back to the first rep. Information prior to onsite interview was missing. Three days passed without word. Somebody in recruting or HR or both dropped the ball. I was referred to website training and got lost in the maze of clicks and drop down menus. I had to go to the onsite store marketing manager to explain. From there, an appointment was confirmed, interview completed with skills test, resume review, employment background check verified. The people in remote locations were pleasant but assumed knowledge of systems. The second recruiter/HR ? seem to be competitive and dropped the ball. Perhaps, hiring process is seemless in theory but this was not my experience. Onsite supervisor seemed to be in a holding pattern, awaitng corporate. The supervisor handled the situation well, though obviously concerned of other pressing responsibilities.

Not much wiggle room here. I did communicate Sunday AM responsibilities as non-negotiable and asked if this was a deal breaker. It seems the supervisor was bond by the corporate line but without saying how, saw a way to manage this time conflict. As evidenced by hiring me.

Interviewed Jul 2011 (took a day)
Applied online, received a call the next day which was a telephone interview. Process was very short, no difficult questions - mainly common sense stuff. Recruiter went over the pay structure (very low pay). Was offered the position at the end of the call. Was emailed new hire package which had to be completed and returned within a couple of days. Supervisor contacted me a few days later to set me up with online passwords and training info. Start next week, so far so good.
