aptitude test multiple choice 1hour
functional test 1 hour for 2 papers banking and insurance both multiple choice difficulty level good

Interview Question – What are the Insurance companies that has head office in Noida and Gurgaon?
How would you calculate insurance premium and sum assured. You are allowed to make additional assumption?

Negotiation Details – They offered 3 lac pa and 3.5 after 6 month completion. However after giving an offer letter my joining was delayed for 18 months. It was recession time of 2009. Hence I joined another company at a nominal package and joined CSC after 18 months at 3lac. Again my salary revision to 3.5 dint happen for next 10 months. There was a contarct for 2 years.

Interview Details – Interviews were held in campus and there were two rounds of written exams first followed by 2 interviews, one technical and one HR.

Interview Details – Had 3 rounds of interview for over 2 hours ,but I think because of the 35% salary I had asked they didnt called.
Overall a good company,but I feel the 3 rounds or interviews and no call is a bit too much.I think they take themselves way too seriously than needed.
CSC is very very small in india and not much chances of growth only join if you know someone at the top...

Interview Details – Initial communication: I got email from CSC HR for this opening and I expressed my interest. I told her clearly that I don't have single day relevant experience for the position but I have my own expertise in other domain of service management. She still invited me after screening.

First Round: I entered a room where 2 interviews were already sitting and I smiled at them. They were like PAN faced frustated employees, who had no clue of what smile is all about.
Interview lasted for 3-4 minutes and I am not sure without asking any relevant questions they came to conclusion of please wait outside and HR will reach you.
Divine power to asses someone.

Advice to senior management: Please conduct interview of your interviewers and assess them on their capability to take interviews (soft skills, have appropriate questions in their head, have ability to make inferences from unsaid things ). They don't need to show their authority to interviewee. They can be humble and ask relevant questions, if not suitable let them know and they can leave.
But asking irrelevant questions does not making any sense. Sentence like: I give you 1 minute. Give me answer that is running in my conditioned mind.

I am not sure for how much time I will not be eligible in CSC for next interview because of that illiterate interviewer.

Interview Question – Will CMDB include people of any department?
Are people configurable items? Gawaar
He was only looking for book definition. I guess he is unaware of something better and i.e concepts. He had some definitions in his little head

Interview Details – There can be 2-3 round of tech panel interviews depending upon what profile candidate is being interviewed for. Communication need to be good and candidate should be straight-forward. More process oriented resources are preferred.

Interview Question – Mostly situation queries based on resource experience and few hypothetical questions can be confusing.   Answer Question

Reason for Declining – I got few offers not matching my expectations in terms of remuneration, role offered.

Interview Details – Tedious, 2 rounds of technical rounds followed by HR who will paint a big picture which is a not what you will be getting into if you are going for Mumbai Location. Confirmation takes a long time coming followed by a Verification process where in you will have to submit no of documents relating to your previous organisation
