After finishing the entire interview, i was told that position is on a hold.Even after seeing the current designation of being a senior tester. they want me to work as a test analyst , which is really idiotic.

Received a phone call from a Sr. Recruiter about the position after applying online, scheduled a time to have a phone interview. Had the phone interview and scheduled a time for a technical phone screen. Received a phone call from the recruiter two days later telling me I did really well on the technical phone interview and that he would contact the team to set up an in person interview. Was called 2 weeks later and told that the hiring for that position was currently frozen and he would contact me if and when they were prepared to hire for that or other positions. The recruiter seemed genuine in his interest in me getting a career so I am not too disappointed.

It was pretty straight forward, phone then in person interview. Since it was a internship, there wasn't as much emphasis on particular skills, but rather what type of person you are. They were looking for a hard worker and some to get smaller more manual projects done.

I was contacted by phone to describe the opportunitty and fix a face-to-face nterview. In that one, I had several personal interviews and group interviews, trying to determine my capacity to deliver and adapt to that company.
Interviewers were professional and skilled.

Interview was more like a discussion. Wanted to know my most recent work experience and how it would relate to the job description that was advertised. Told me about a few current issues the project i would be assigned to had. And asked me how I would go about solving them. Spent a lot of time on this part fo the interview. I think my answers were good (but not perfect) and thus lead to a second interview where start date and pay was discussed.

Interviewed Dec 2010 in Dallas, TX (took 2 months)
Contacted by recruited first from having my resume posted online. Interviewed for the position about 2 times with recruiter just making sure I had the skills they were looking for. Then i remember having an interview originally in October, then again in November and finally a 1 on 1 interview in December. In January 2011 I was offered the position and accepted. Have been happy since then. Looking back I am glad they went through the process they went through to screen candidates.

Began with telephone screen by recruiter, 20 minutes of discussions about career aspirations and reasons for leaving current position, followed up in 2 weeks with in-person interview with 2 managers of consulting organization, about 40 minutes a piece. Was surprised that interview did not include a lot of discussion of my background and experience nor any discussion of job expectations and requirements, conversation mostly about nature of consulting market, competitive differentiators of CSC, and evolution of CSC consulting group. I was asked for my questions at multiple times (make sure you have some questions available). Office was typical business, small closed-door offices for managers, cubes for most of the rank/file, it seemed that most staff were off-site (as you would expect serving clients). Was told to wait for position to become available (we don't hire for bench)

After initial phone screening interview, I was called for skills test. Apparently, they expected me to know project management stuff where as my role was suppose to be of Sr. software developer. However, I could answer the questions based on my knowledge (ofcourse, not what they would have expected). I knew I will not get any calls and never heard back from them. The interview process seems very professional though and the staff was very accomodative to align with my schedule and availability.
