Information Technology Leadership Program Interview

Information Technology Leadership Program
Jacksonville, FL

I applied through college or university and the process took 3 days - interviewed at CSX in December 2011.

Interview Details – Process started with an on-campus interview where I was interviewed by two people and mostly asked questions about experience on my resume. That led to an on-site interview, which began with dinner the night before with employees from the company. The interview the next day included presentation of a case study that had been emailed about a week earlier. Presentation went smoothly, basic questions about content of my slides were asked. After the case study, two one on one interviews followed where I was asked fairly basic questions about my experiences, both from the technical and behavioral side. Process concluded with lunch at a nearby restaurant.

Interview Questions

  • There weren't really any tough questions. Your average behavioral questions. Tell me about a time when...etc   Answer Question
  • Was asked a couple of questions about what languages I have worked in, which language I'm most comfortable with, how would I rate myself on a scale of 1-10 with the language I'm most comfortable with.   Answer Question

Reason for Declining – Salary wasn't what I was looking for.
