The store manager called me and asked me if I am intressted in a part time position as a cashier but not for the original location that I applied for online, instead of that 16 miles further away. I accepted it and got the interview only a cupple hours after his call.Once I was there the store manager puled out my online application and was going through the whole application sheet to make sure that he understood my answers and needs right. The interview lasted about an hour and it was realy plesant, because the store manager took all my excitement and worries away by his funny way of communicating. He started the background check on my way out and 3 days later he called me again and told me that I am hired as a part time cashier. At this point I have to say that before I got the interview I had my application put in at least a month before that and I did even forgot that I applied at the same time for a shift supervisor position.

I went in personally 2 or 3 times a week just to check in, even tho I knew they would not be hiring for a few months. I figured that if they saw me coming in regularly, they would assume I would also show up regularly for work. The personal interview was about an hour, and I was called back and hired after passing a drug and background check.

Interview process seemed to be longer than I have been used to. I had phone interview with staffing. Next phone interview was with hiring manager. Next was a face-to-face interview with the hiring manager and one of the team members. Next was a phone interview with the VP for the group. When I got the offer, next step was the background check. When that was complete, then had to go for drug test.

My school called to see if there was any openings, i was contacted by my school to go and speak with the pharmacist. we spoke for a couple of minutes and he told me he would be in contact with me, it has only been a day but i am confidant that i got the job. I inturned at CVS everyine was very nice and easy going even when the rush hit

After applying for a shift supervisor position, I received a call to come in for an interview. I arrived about 5 minutes early and was greeted by the front end clerk. She informed my interviewer that I was here and the interviewer came out to meet me and take me to her office. She looked over my application and informed me that they DIDN'T have a supervisor position available but had a need for a front end clerk who would double as the photo person. She couldn't even guarantee me 19 hours a week and it paid almost minimum wage. I was very disappointed that they decieved me into thinking I was applying for a supervisor position, which online was in the $40,000. a year category. Only to be offered a job making less than HALF??

I already worked with the company as a pharmacy technician on the retail side. I transferred to this position with in the company. I interviewe with 2 managers that were deciding where I would be placed. Later I meet with the Director and the manager. Then I was made an offer. It took a while to even start, like 2-3 months with the whole process. The company was going through a merger at the time.

They did not negotiate with me at all. They offered and didn't budge with my experience, education and all. And I needed them so I didn't press the issue.

I applied for the position online, received email and phone communications. Did a drug test and did a one-on-one interview with the HR manager and two different supervisors with a computer/listening test in between interviews. It was an intense couple of hours but the people I met were very kind and made me feel comfortable from the very beginning. I was offered the position on the spot and left the building feeling very positive that I would fit right in. The supervisors and HR manager treated me with such respect, I knew this company hired great people.

Initial phone interview. Standard stuff like why do what this position and how would you fit in this community. Had a real strong connection to the interviewee and she seemed to like me.
I was told to expect a follow up interview next week but that message never came. Follow up attempts were met with silence. Not even a rejection letter.
