I filled out application online. After about a week and half I hadn't heard from anyone so I went to the store I initialled applied to and asked to speak with the HR manager. He wasn't there at the time. I called the next day and spoke with him. Did interview and background check and after 2 weeks I finally got the job

Dress neat and clean, have a copy of your resume with you and a copy of references also in case they are asked for. You will be asked about what type of position are looking for, make sure you let the interviewer know you are looking for a position with a future and want to grow with the company. Almost all new hires are part time, and hours are flexible, and you will be trained in all departments, be positive about being willing to do that. CVS is a good place to work, but you cannot miss days for no reason or with frequency. You also have to pass a background check. You really need to project that you are a people person as customer service is everything.

I applied online and about a week later, got a phone call and had a mini-interview with the manager. The following Monday, had a one on one interview with same manager. Never heard back. During the phone interview, said manager really made it sound like I might get the job, even talking like I was actually already working there. I didn't like being misled like that. Oh well.
