very easy, interviewwed at a store with the dm and emerging leader, hired me on the spot, provided i passed the drug test I did. Stayed as an ASST Mgr for 8 months, had to re-interview for store mgr when position became available. interviewed with a panel.

Met initially with department manager, who originally phoned me to schedule. He was enthusiastic about my background and skills and concluded that he would recommend to district manager to meet with me and hire. After scheduling conflicts (district manager called to reschedule once), we met. He took one look at me (I'm male, 56 years of age) and then began asking questions, without looking up from his PDA.

It was actually fairly simple. Submit application and follow up with calls into the district office asking them to review it and for an interview. You get a short telephone conversation followed by an email invitation to answer some questions. This is followed by an appointment being set for a one on one interview with the district manager.

Initial phone interview escalates to an interview with recruiter. second interview with hiring DM. Possible third interview with Regional. Lenghty, both over two hours. Seem to have alot to talk about. Did not do much talking the second interview. More DM trying to guage my commitment. I already know this is a very demanding company as is any retail company
