Tags: See more , See less 8 Answer Add Tags Answer Interview Answer 1 Answer ▲ 0 ▼ in 2004, GMAIL started by invitation only and it is known that whenever a new interest service is launched, the peak of download users always rise when its started and then it eventually becomes constant. Saying that lets assume google was assuming 50 million users in GMAIL in 2004, it having 190 million users right now. Also in 2004, assuming it was giving 1GB of space of every user. Now though we say we are giving 1GB of space to each user it would not be 50 million * 1 GB cause not all the users take all the space. the graph would be most of the users taking 100 MB and very less users taking 1GB, we need to also understand that google always make redudant data on its file servers, so make a percentage and guess what the file storage would be.Any comments/suggestions?
