Interviewed Nov 2011 in Boston, MA (took 2 months)
First step was a generic phone interview, i.e. favorite class in college, where do you see yourself in 5 years, why CA, etc. Next round is 1:1 with a current Consulting Associate and it has a similar course as the phone interview, but is more to see how you interact with people, and then there was a simple case study about choosing investment managers for a client. Final round is a series of interviews with each interviewer covering a specific portion of you background (College, work experience, interest in investments, what type of person/worker you are, case study (mine was about hedge funds)) given by current Consulting Associates, HR manager, and Consulting manager.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in London, England (United Kingdom) (took 2 weeks)
No competence questions. I was asked about my previous job experience and why want to switch to investment consulting. Then I was asked to describe my portfolio: where would I invest and why, for how long, etc etc. They clearly expected very detailed answer of the firms, sectors, market dynamic, aims.

Interviewed Jul 2010 (took 2 days)
The first portion is a phone interview with basic questions like: what were your favorite 3 classes in college? Tell me about yourself? and then you explain your resume. They also ask questions like how did you hear about Cambridge? Tell me about someone who was difficult to work with? What are your strengths and weaknesses?
The second portion is a 3 hour long interview where you interview with 2 consulting associates, one office manager, and 2 consultants. The time length is designed to wear you down so you become more honest. The first 3 people ask very similiar questions and ask you to classify your excel knowledge (do you know vlookups, vbas, sumproducts, etc), interest in investments, etc. The 4th section is a case study asking about sharpe ratios, efficient region, etc. It proposes 4 portfolios and asks you to pick the best one based on the data.

Interviewed Feb 2011 in Menlo Park, CA (took 2 weeks)
Not a great process. I know some good people there, but their process really looked down on my background because it was not in the "hard sciences" or math.

Interviewed Dec 2010 in Cambridge, MA (took 3 weeks)
It was a laid back culture, everyone was really friendly and really young. Most of the employers were from Northeastern schools, NESCA and Ivies. Overall the interview was not hard at all and everyone was really nice.

Interviewed Nov 2010 in Boston, MA (took a day)
Had my first round of interviews with Cambridge Associates for their Consulting Associates position. It was mostly behavior questions like tell me about a time where you used teamwork. They also gave me a chart which was risk/reward chart based on different portfolio managers. They told me to describe it and talk about the Share Ratio. Besides that, it was a fairly straightforward interview, no tough questions.

Interviewed Jun 2010 in Dallas, TX (took 3 weeks)
Sent cover letter and resume to recruiter. Heard back and arranged for a phone interview.
Phone Interview: Standard questions covering resume, background, and how picked university, etc. Heard back and invited to Branch for the final interview.
At branch: 3 hours interview process. Mostly one-on-one and had a short case to analyze (20 mins). Basically risk-return graphs and to see if you understand basic finance/investments. Interviews briefed over resume, but were mostly looking for a "fit"with local branch. All in all, be sure you can explain that you are proficient with with excel (vlookup, vba, etc), that you can handle the work-load, and you are a good fit with the rest of the branch.
Heard back within 2 weeks via email, about rejection. Also, firm does not reimburse for gas, provide lunch, etc.
