The process started out seamlessly through a national recruiting firm. My HR contact was exceptional in that she kept the communication flowing and was attentive to my needs. Following the screening interview and work sample submission, I had a phone conversation with the hiring manager. My future boss and I simply clicked. After working for three weeks to align appropriate schedules, the agency flew me out with nice accommodations and started a full day of interviews. I liked the role, fully enjoyed the client and loved those with whom I would work. The verbal offer, written letter and my acceptance all came the day after interviewing.

Negotiation Details
Thank goodness for companies that are flexible. Everything I needed to make a smooth transition and relocate to the area were fulfilled. There were some benefits of the job that are non-negotiable but whatever mattered most to me was worked through.
Other Details
I got the interview through a Recruiter and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview and a Background Check.
