Solutions Planning Manager Interview (Positive Experience; Difficult Interview)
I applied through a recruiter and the process took 5 weeks - interviewed at Campbell Ewald in March 2011.
Interview Details – The process started out seamlessly through a national recruiting firm. My HR contact was exceptional in that she kept the communication flowing and was attentive to my needs. Following the screening interview and work sample submission, I had a phone conversation with the hiring manager. My future boss and I simply clicked. After working for three weeks to align appropriate schedules, the agency flew me out with nice accommodations and started a full day of interviews. I liked the role, fully enjoyed the client and loved those with whom I would work. The verbal offer, written letter and my acceptance all came the day after interviewing.
- What do you think is the next level for (xxx client) given our current campaign? Answer Question
- Do you use more deductive or inductive reasoning in your thinking process? Answer Question
Negotiation Details – Thank goodness for companies that are flexible. Everything I needed to make a smooth transition and relocate to the area were fulfilled. There were some benefits of the job that are non-negotiable but whatever mattered most to me was worked through.
