Interviewed Mar 2011 in Camden, NJ (took 2 weeks)
HR contacted me for a phone interview, followed by a face to face interview. The interview lasted almost the full day. I met with various levels of management. Mostly our talks focused on my experience. There were a few questions like "Tell me a time when you had to lead a team" or "Explain how you'd handle a difficult or high pressure situation" and so on. Overall I had a very positive experience and left with good thoughts of the company.

Interviewed Aug 2010 (took 2 weeks)
I had applied on Campbell's "gateway" website. A week later I was notified via email about an interview schedule. All interviews occured on the same day and in person. (Campbell's uses a behavioral interviewing technique - I had been trained on this in the past as I had hired nearly ten people in ten years). I had interviwed with the hiring manager, a associate on the team and the HR Generalist. Two days later I received an email stating I was their candidate of choice. The people were friendly and focused. The Cherry Hill NJ office is a little dated - but functional. The office was a semi-professional one - it felt like every day was casual friday.

Interviewed Jan 2009 (took 6 weeks)
Initially met the company at a career fair. Had the first interview on-site, about a 30 min behavioral interview going over my resume and why I want to work at Campbell Soup. After that I had an on-site interview consisting of 4 interviews with various managers in the organization. All of them were behavioral interviews using the "Situation/Problem, Action, and Result" format when answering the questions. People were all very friendly and proud to be working for Campbells.

Interviewed Oct 2009 (took a day)
Interview was offered at a job fair at an MBA conference after visiting the Campbell's booth. I chatted with one senior employee and was asked to do a quick on the spot interview with a brand manager. The interview was casual, and focused on my experience and why I was interested in Campbell. People were friendly, and emphasized the great work culture.

Interviewed Dec 2010 in Camden, NJ (took 3 weeks)
Overall, it wasn't a bad interview process. It was very long (5 hours). They ask you the same questions over and over again. Campbell's puts you up at a luxury hotel and makes all sorts of nice accommodations. However, after several weeks I never heard from Campbell's again. I was told that I would hear feedback within 3 days of the interview. Yet, it never happened. It seemed like a great place to work. However, I am soured that I was never given an answer on my job status.

Interviewed Jan 2011 (took 3 months)
Process consisted of 11 interviews including 2 telephone interviews and 9 face to face interviews including a short case study. I was well briefed by the internal recruiter on the type of interviews e.g. competency based interviewing using the Campbell's Leadership model. I asked if I could receive a list of the core competencies, I was told I would receive the information via e-mail ahead of my first interview. The information didn't materialize and instead I used the core values of the company as published on the corporate website to help me with my interview preparation. Before going into the second round of interviews I asked again to receive the list of core competencies which I did not receive. After each round of interviews I received very positive feedback in a timely manner. The last round of interviews took place early December 2010. However, after this round I was told that there would be an additional round which was positioned as an external assessment. This took place early January 2011 and it was most definitely not an assessment, it was another competency based interview. I felt very uneasy about the last interview as there was a lot of overlap and repetition of questions in addition to probing into sensitive competitive data. I was told I would hear back from the HR person the following day. I have been waiting for over ten days now. I would have rated my experience as a positive one, however in view of the chaos surrounding the last interview and the lack of timely feedback, my rating has gone down to 'neutral'. I've enjoyed meeting the people at Campbell and I can tell that this is a hard working, professional environment. I just think it is a shame that people haven't honored their word. If there is delay in the business decision process then this should be communicated properly rather than leaving candidates in the dark.

Interviewed Nov 2010 in Camden, NJ (took 3 weeks)
I was intially scouted by a Talent Acquisition Consultant at a recent University College Recruitment Fair. After a breif meeting she assessed my resume and thought I might fit the criteria for a recent internship posting. After about a week, I was sent an e-mail requesting an interview and that I should fill out an application online prior to the interview.
The interview was a 4 part one on one interview that lasted about 4.5 hours. I must say that the questions are relevant to the position and everyone that was involved was a pleasure to speak with. Although the interview was fairly lengthy, it went by quickly as the questions were engaging and allowed a wonderful opportunity for me to show my abilities and accomplishments.
About an hour after my interview, I recieved a phone call from the hiring manager to tell me that I was selected and that pending a background check, I would be starting as soon as was possible. The background check took about 2 weeks and then I recieved another call to notify me that I had cleared.
