everyone is very nice, but i feel as if the interview process is very long and drawn out. i had an interview every other week with some one else in the company and was starting to get very frustrated.

3 interviews - straight up questions about my experience after fairly detailed explanation of the job. Not a lot of hokey questions about your greatest strengths and weaknesses. Interviewed with would be peers, manager, director, and sales counterpart. Seems like a decent company to work for, althought I got the feeling they really wanted you to work tons of hours.

Took the online test then was asked to come in for the group interview, there were about 10 others there all applying for various positions. It was interesting, no one really spoke very much, just introductions and why you wanted to work there. Based on a 2-3 minute speech they asked some people to stay and talk to the hiring manager. It was interesting that with such little information in a group setting they chose who was going to move on and who was not. After, I was asked to come in for a trail day!

Canon Business Solutions is currently experiencing a hiring freeze, so some challenges came up in their hiring me, but the process over-all was very smooth. Management was friendly and gave excellent feedback, also they did respond to my follow-up emails in a timely manner. I was asked to create a presentation on why I was the best candadate, but I found that to be only slightly intimidating. Very professional group over-all.

Negotiation Details
Was unable to negotiate anything since they had to get special permission just to bring me in- also they have firm standards on compensation for various levels of sales reps. The best thing you can do in the Las Vegas market is ask for more than the standard 3 months for the comp kicker, its not enough time to build the pipeline and start closing business, and there are very few existing accounts to upgrade or renew. Be prepared, training is long and usually away from your home city. I was sent back east for a total of 4 weeks- which was all expense paid as long as you only eat $40 a day. Oh, you may want to negotiate for a higher car allowance as well.

Disorganized, CBS is still just getting started. Interviewed with 2 different managers,both are gone now. New manager hasn't gotten back to me yet... Couldn't give me good details on anything...not interested in working at CBS right now.

The interview Lasted around for month. It consisted in performing the same duties I would perform once hired. There is three department where I had to be trained (Mailroom, Copy center, and Shipping and receiving. At this moment in my supervisor absence I am first in command.

Multiple Face to Face interviews with Senior Marketing management. Company retains its employees and promotes from within. Strong, traditional Japanaese ran company with its eye on growth. Comapny is building a new facitiliy and it looks as if they are heavility investing in the future.
