I applied through a staffing agency and the process took a day - interviewed at Capgemini in November 2010.
Interview Details – Only one interview, interviewer knew next to nothing about the subject and was asking questions without a clue. The way it works is any senior professionals who are free on a weekend are selected to do the interview rounds without much regards to their talent.
Interview Question – None at all. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – Yes I had to negotiate a bit for the desired amount. Number of working years helped.
I applied through a recruiter and the process took 5+ weeks - interviewed at Capgemini in July 2011.
Interview Details – Hiring is mostly for Projects, but by the time, you may join, that position most likely will be closed. will have to wait for some time for Project. Interview is fairly simple just two rounds in most cases - Technical Level one, Tech/manager level two.
Interview Question – There might be some ongoing issues based question, which candidates have no clue, try not to give any fake solution. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – Capgemini is open for negotiations during hiring.
I applied in-person and the process took 2+ weeks - interviewed at Capgemini.
Interview Details – I was told that this is very senior position with a critical project. The first round was telephonic which i cleared. After that i was called for Face to Face where 2 senior people took my interview for nearly 1 hr....It went OK for me as there were some difference in our opinion. But i was told that i have cleared it and now there will be one client round and its just a formality. Then it was telephonic round with a lady in US who took it...Actually they told that it is a client round round but it was taken by their employee only....It went very well and i answered all her questions.....I was very confident that now i will get the offer....To my surprise the HR told me that i have not cleared the client round.....I invested so much time n effort and felt very bad...The HR himself told me that are also shock....really pathetic experience for me...

I applied through a recruiter and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Capgemini.
Interview Details – The HR department was really effective in their communication. The right message was sent and received by the Talent Acquisition team. The HR department and the Technical team were really supportive on arranging flexible interview timings and dates. The interview calls were pretty fast, as they do not waste time unnecessarily. I had three rounds of interview and the offer was released as soon as possible. The HR team is really helpful and supportive of a reasonable negotiation.

Very Easy Interview
I applied through an employee referral and the process took 3 months - interviewed at Capgemini.
Interview Details – I applied through a friend and the process took 4 months. I was invited to teleconference with the hiring manager in Europe. The Hiring Manager seemed to have no functional experience in Sales Support. She was from a marketing background I learned later. There was no written JD, please insist on written JD's or you will end up doing odd jobs. I was given a chance to ask questions but found that both the hiring manager and the India manager had no knowledge of the function. Both seemed be to be just managers of the team. Then there was a video conference with the same person where she asked some pertinent questions like why I had a brief stint in one of my former companies. The company has shut down and she seemed satisfied with the answer. This was followed by a brief VC with an AVP who also seemed clueless when it came to Sales Support. Last was a written test that I cleared. This whole process took three months. Then came HR round.
Interview Question – Give me an instance where you showed collaboration to win over a customer Answer Question
Negotiation Details – You have to be careful here. The trick HR uses is to give you the same fixed salary as you last job and give you a bonus that makes the entire package looks like you are getting 25 to 30% hike. Do not accept if you are not happy as you will be stuck with the same package for years as yearly increments are pretty low.
I applied through a recruiter - interviewed at Capgemini in December 2013.
Interview Details – Mode of interview is telephonic by Rajesh
Interview Question – Most stupid questions from developer point of view and second thing the interview questions are for a Sales Person point of view not from developer point of view.
All stupid cross questions irritates you while answering the questions & the person who interview is Over confident and he feels like he know everything.
Inf act the similar feedback i got from most of my friends who attended the interview.

I applied through a staffing agency and the process took 6 days - interviewed at Capgemini in January 2012.

Negotiation Details – they won't give a option to negotiate .. :P that is true :-)
I applied through an employee referral and the process took 6+ weeks - interviewed at Capgemini in September 2013.
Interview Details – Scheduled 1-1 Round:
As there were simultaneous scheduled and walk in drive happening at the same location, there were more number of people that appeared for the one scheduled and the people that attended the scheduled interview were not tracked. This caused a massive delay and I had to wait till 4 PM (scheduled time being 10 AM - 3 PM) for the 1st round. They sent us back after 5.30 PM informing we would be contacted within 2 days for the 2nd round.
The 2nd Technical Round happened after a week over telephone.
The HR Process took more than a month.
Interview Question – The interviewer bluntly asked, so why are so many people coming from xxx company for the interview? View Answer
I applied through a recruiter - interviewed at Capgemini in October 2013.
Interview Details – I recieved communication from Capgemini saying they are hiring OBIEE developers and I was asked to go to their office for the interview last Saturday(5th Oct,2013).My interview was scheduled at 9.30 a.m.I went there and I was given a token.I awaited my turn patiently. It was 1p.m and I was still not called.People around grew impatient. The process was all completely disorganized. Some of them were asked to leave for lunch and come back.I approached the event manager and he told me my C.V will be sent to the interviewer next and I should wait. So,I waited.
I did not get my turn till 3p.m while people who came in around 2p.m were sent for the interview!I approached the HR again to ask if I could atleast go for lunch.I was told not to go as my turn would come next.I did not get my turn.I waited till 4 and then the HR said I can go for lunch and be back in 10min.There was no place around serving lunch at that time.I grabbed sandwich at CCD and was back in 10min.I was told it would be a telephonic interview. When I was back there was no HR around to connect me to the interviewer. So,I had waited for 7 hours for my interview to happen.Around 4.30 p.m,the HR came back and I had my techical interview(telephonic) .It went well and I was through the first round.
On 8th Oct,2013 I got a call from this HR named Syed who told me that I am through and he will quickly conduct my HR round. We discussed my CTC and we arrived at a figure that would be offered by Capgemini. He sent across some documents which I had to fill and send back to him.The same evening I got a call from another person saying my second techinical round was scheduled for 9th Oct!Ridiculous!HR had discussed my package, sent me forms/documents and then somebody calls me for another round of interview!I told her that I had my HR round. She said they are simply collecting information and documents from everybody!
Anyway,I had my 2nd technical round. After that I called back the HR who had taken my HR round. He said there was a communication gap between them.He thought my 2nd round was over and hence took my HR round.I asked for the feedback of my 2nd technical round. He said he would check and get back.I did not hear from him again.I dropped emails to both the HRs and no reply from them.Absolute lack of courtesy and professionalism.
