Interviewed Jul 2010 (took 2 months)
Initial contact was a referral from a business colleague. I had a screening interview with HR over the phone about one week after that contact.
Following that screening, HR set up a phone interview with the hiring manager about two weeks later. The hiring manager was travelling overseas so the interview lasted 30 minutes and he was in a hotel room and clearly exhausted. Several days later I was told that CG would fly me to their location for a face-to-face interview with the same hiring manager. So far, so good, now somewhat excited.
The onsite interview - same day as I travelled - was rather a disappointment. Hiring manager seemed unprepared. Certainly nothing that could be called Behavioral Interviewing and just some general questions that were related to the job. After an hour I was taken to interview with another manager who seemed to have no idea why he was talking to me. He had no questions for me and just wanted to know if I had any questions of him. I suspect that these were all competent people who were just so busy that they had no time prepare for anything - constant react mode. The office environment there was like a tomb - eerily quiet considering how hyperactive the business had been described to me.
I flew back home thinking that I hadn't done a great job but, reflecting on the interview, not sure how that would have been possible. As usual the last comment from HR was, "We are going to make a decision quickly; we're hurting."
After several weeks of no response I pinged the HR person for an update and was told only that the hiring manager was travelling again and so the hiring process was on the backburner. Since then, despite several more pings to HR for an update, there has never been a reply of any sort.
Recently via some clever searching on LinkedIn, I believe that I have identified the person hired to fill that role. I'm fine with not being selected but peeved about the radio silence! Most professionals can handle rejection just fine - we deal with it a lot.
Administrative support that set up my travel and interview was excellent.

Interviewed Dec 2008 in Chicago, IL (took 2 days)
My first round interview on campus was strictly behavioral, and was with a consultant who had been with the firm for about 8 years.
Second (and final) round interviews consisted of an office visit, where they gave a quick presentation about the company, gave us lunch, and had about 3 rounds of interviews.
Interviews were conducted by 2 senior/manager level consultants and one recent-hire.
I interviewed with 3 other candidates for 1 open position. The other three candidates had/were seeking Master's degrees in technical fields.

Interviewed Jul 2010 in New York, NY (took 2 weeks)
1 HR Screen followed by a managing director phone interview. Afterwards, 1 director and 1 sr. manager in person interview in the office. MD interview was more for culture fit and was a breeze. Sr. Manager interview was a case study and more around general knowledge on IT processes such as ITIL, SDLC etc.
I couldn't remember the ITIL process names and was not given an offer. Make sure to memorize.

Interviewed Nov 2009 in Jersey City, NJ (took 2 days)
Got the interview on campus; breezed past the first round.
At the second round, there was a series of 1:1 interviews with on-the-bench consultants for the company. I had to give a presentation on a topic of my choice and answer simple math Qs. I was told the firm couldn't hire fast enough and that I couldn't have made it to the final round if my resume wasn't good enough. I was then declined an offer because I didn't have enough experience. Humph!
I interviewed in BIM group--- no case studies were given.

Interviewed Nov 2009 (took 1+ week)
Phone call with recruiter. Then two phone screens with peers over the next two days. People were very positive and gracious. Very fast moving in setting up. Then a batch of three live interviews in one day with senior management. Impression that people were looking to screen you in rather than eliminate. Feedback from recruiter on following day. Offer was made within seven days.

Attitude among all interviewers. MBA takes place of intelligence here. Lots of badmouthing the CEO. No genuine interest in my capabilities; mostly banter and boastfulness among the middle managers.
