Immigration Manager at Capgemini North America

No Offer – Interviewed in Chicago, IL Apr 2011 – Reviewed Apr 21, 2011

Interview Details – The interview process was a very long one and usually consisted of 1-2 phone interviews per week, along with daily calls from the director of recruiting. I flew out from CA for a final interview in IL and was told that it went very well and I should receive an offer in a few days...after a week I still heard nothing. Dead silence.

SAP Staff Consultant at Capgemini North America

Declined Offer – Interviewed in Houston, TX Feb 2011 – Reviewed Apr 21, 2011

Interview Details – On campus interview consisted of a 1 on 1 interview with a hiring manager consisting of simple hypothetical questions. The second round was in Houston (all expenses paid) and consisted of 5 interviews including an executive level interview. Some of the interviews were meant to test analytical skills, others seemed to test interpersonal abilities. They all consisted of fairly vague hypothetical questions.

Interview Questions

Reason for Declining – I didn't want to spend 90% of my work time traveling.

Client Development Analyst at Capgemini North America

No Offer – Interviewed in Los Angeles, CA Feb 2011 – Reviewed Mar 10, 2011

Interview Details – I got the interview through my university on campus recruiting (OCR), which is a preselect process. It was a 1:1 interview. The whole interview was basically a rundown of your resume, mainly your education, work experiences, and your specialized skills. The overall interview process has 2 steps. The next round would be flying you to their HQ S&P building in NYC.

Staff Consultant at Capgemini North America

Accepted Offer – Interviewed in New York, NY Nov 2010 – Reviewed Dec 5, 2010

Interview Details – Offered a "wait list" interview slot for first round interviews the day before on-campus interviews. Interviewer was pleasant, but acted somewhat uninterested during a few of my stories. Was invited to second round interviews, but the HR manager didn't seem to know what she was doing. She didn't send us the time until a day before. At the interviews, I had one interviewer that was really harsh and told me that I didn't have the technical background to succeed. Then, the other interviewer was really nice and told me that technical knowledge wasn't necessary, just technical aptitude.

Interview Question – How would you develop requirements for a job?   Answer Question

Negotiation Details – I have not yet received my package yet, just a written offer.

Consultant at Capgemini North America

No Offer – Interviewed in Atlanta, GA Mar 2010 – Reviewed Oct 3, 2010

Interview Details – I submitted my resume via my university's website. I was offered an interview. The interview was behavioral with questions that can be answered in the STAR format. This was a consulting job, so make sure you understand how the industry works. Questions like, "what is your biggest weakness" and "tell me about a time..." take up most of the interview.

IT Associate at Capgemini North America

No Offer – Interviewed in Chicago, IL Dec 2008 – Reviewed Sep 26, 2010

Interview Details – My first round interview on campus was strictly behavioral, and was with a consultant who had been with the firm for about 8 years.

Second (and final) round interviews consisted of an office visit, where they gave a quick presentation about the company, gave us lunch, and had about 3 rounds of interviews.

Interviews were conducted by 2 senior/manager level consultants and one recent-hire.

I interviewed with 3 other candidates for 1 open position. The other three candidates had/were seeking Master's degrees in technical fields.

Associate Consultant at Capgemini North America

No Offer – Interviewed in Jersey City, NJ Nov 2009 – Reviewed Sep 8, 2010

Interview Details – Got the interview on campus; breezed past the first round.
At the second round, there was a series of 1:1 interviews with on-the-bench consultants for the company. I had to give a presentation on a topic of my choice and answer simple math Qs. I was told the firm couldn't hire fast enough and that I couldn't have made it to the final round if my resume wasn't good enough. I was then declined an offer because I didn't have enough experience. Humph!
I interviewed in BIM group--- no case studies were given.

Interview Question – Given your background, you are likely to be assigned by clients to non-creative deal groups, is this OK with you?   Answer Question
