Senior IT Analyst Interview

Senior IT Analyst
Kraków (Poland)

I applied online and the process took a day - interviewed at Capgemini in April 2009.

Interview Details – If you apply for 1st line IT support position - you don't need *any* IT skills. The *only* real requirement is good (not perfect - just conversational) English. If you are able to communicate freely and are not too nervous - you should get the job easily. Remember that probably the hardest test you will have in this job (when you get it) is talking to some "angry user". If you are calm, professional and prepared for such situation - you will be fine. The same applies for the job interview.

Interview Question – Draw an example of computer network with switch/router, etc.   View Answer

Negotiation Details – Wages are confidential (as in most places in Poland) so please verify them (and contribute later!) to places like glassdoor. Don't be affraid to ask for too much money (unless it's twice too much), because all later increases are set in stone (*If* you will ever get them).
