I applied through other source and the process took 3 weeks - interviewed at Capital Business Systems in September 2009.
Interview Details – Sales Manager reached out to me first. I am now very weary anytime a company reaches out to me first, as it usually means high turnover & they are having trouble hiring new employees to replace the old. Had a telephone interview first, then met with Sales Manager, then met with Sales Manager & HR Manager, then had to complete assessment test. After already being hired, had to then interview with 6 upper managers (including President, VP, Controller, Service Manager, etc.). They each then report back to President & Sales Manager as to whether they think you'll be a good fit or not. These are all the same people that'll being chewing you out for one thing or another later down the road.
Interview Question – The internet assessment test is silly. Any company that relies on some formula to determine "suitability", doesn't know how to hire. A good manager should know a quality employee by personally interviewing them, not by relying on some silly test. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – They low ball on the offer. Do your research on the industry or similar companies & use it for ammunition.
