Interviewed Apr 2009 in San Antonio, TX (took a day)
Phone interview, group of 2:1 interview face to face, drug test. Whole thing took one week. Phone interview 1 hour. Face to face also 1 hour. Drug test.
I was outsourced through an employment agency. So recruiter took care of details including drug testing.
Phone interview was pretty casual. Face to face was also casual. Wore suite, but tie is optional.

Interviewed Mar 2011 (took 3 weeks)
Received a from a very nice woman, Renee, who informed me I would receive a phone call on a certain day at a certain time, about tens days or less out from time of her call, with an phone interviewer. The day came and I sat at my prepared at my computer. The call had not come at time told so called Renee who said Jenna was in must be running late so I waited, about five minutes later Jenna phoned. Jenna was very disengaged from start to finished. Sounded like she was either having a bad day, hated or job was was just plain bored. When responding to her questions, she came across like "Ohh, ok" as tough she had not even listened to my replies, almost yawning. I was so turned off by The Capital Group that I pretty much, mentally kissed that interview off. I received a final call about 3 weeks late and pretty much got the good luck in your endeavors script. I felt from the start of the phone interview I hadn't stood a chance.

Interviewed Sep 2011 in Los Angeles, CA (took 3 weeks)
I had a brief phone interview with a recruiter first and the following week had my first round of interviews w/two managers and the recruiter. I was called back for another round of interviews the following week w/three more people from the web production team, including the senior manager. Everyone was very friendly and professional from start to finish. The interviews were an hour long each. There is a very collegial atmosphere. It is very corporate, which is a plus in my book. The culture emphasizes collaboration, accountability and integrity.

Calls, 5 to 10 day waits for next interview or no selection, up to 3 to 5 months for selection. Just seems like a company would miss out on a great opportunity without getting to see or place the candidate in a practice situation. People are not robots, what is on your paper may not be what the person may match up with but what a missed opportunity.

Interviewed Jul 2011 (took 2 weeks)
HR kept asking the question "what are you NOT getting at your current employment, that you can get here?" If you give an honest and straight forward response, they will ask again and again. They will persist and try to dig deeper into your motivation. They asked both over the phone and in person.
The company is filled with people who have been there for 10, 20+ years. I had the skills and experience to successfully do the job, but it was obvious that they were looking for a particular fit or type of person to fill the role. They admitted that it can be difficult for someone from the outside to succeed in their environment.

Interviewed May 2011 (took 2 days)
The interview process is VERY LONG. I first had a phone interview with HR that took about 40 minutes. 2 2 weeks later I was formally brought in for an interview, it took 4 hours, consisting of 4, 1 hour interviews. The call back interview, another 2 weeks later was with senior managers and was another 4 hours! It then took 2 weeks to go through all the background checks before I finally received an offer.

Interviewed Jun 2011 in Irvine, CA (took 2 weeks)
I received a call from an initial recruiter for a phone interview. After that i was brought in to meet with the recruiter for a 1-on-1 interview. It was an informal meeting in which the recruiter assess your interest in the position and asks you about your resume. After that I met with both the senior manager and manager. That interview was more formal as they ask you specific questions that require you to recall specific examples from your work history, school projects, classes, and so forth. It's not a very daunting process, though it may seem like it. I thought I did very well in all of my interviews, yet I was offered no job.

The interview with Human Resources was very detailed. Theyasked questions in regards to your past experience and verify information that is already on your resume. They'll cover gaps that are in your resume, why you left any previous employers and ask what you liked/didn't like about your past employers.

Interviewed Feb 2011 in Los Angeles, CA (took a day)
I gave one of the recruiters my resume at a job fair on campus and HR contacted me a couple of weeks later with an invitation to sign up for an interview on my university's on campus recruiting system.
The interview was two on one and consisted primarily of behavioral questions. Expect your interviewers to poke and prod at your answers with follow up questions if you don't sound like you know what you're talking about.
Interviewers seem genuinely passionate about the company. A trend I noticed in their people was a tendency towards being very careful and conservative with the things they say, which reflects the company's culture.
The only negative aspect of the interview was that they didn't bother to notify me that I wouldn't be chosen for a second round interview. I would interview for them again.
