Fixed Asset Supervisor Interview

Fixed Asset Supervisor
Richmond, VA

I applied through a recruiter and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at CarMax in August 2013.

Interview Details – The process starts with the application which includes a 300 question personality assessment. The instructions say to allow 45 minutes for the assessment, but it took me more than an hour to complete. The next step is the phone interview. It was one hour long and felt more like an in-person interview. Be prepared to tell the interviewer what you know about CarMax. I was also asked about my strengths and my greatest accomplishment. Pretty standard stuff. Then there were five behavioral interview type questions. I was asked questions that dealt with conflict resolution, dealing with unrealistic expectations and dealing with change. I did not make it past the phone interview, so I can't comment on the in-person interview.

Interview Question – The most difficult question I received was to talk about a change that I was involved with that later on after the change was made, I disagreed with.   View Answer
