Interview Details – The most difficult part seems to be getting selected to begin the process. They have a basic and very textbook hiring and interview process once you are selected to get to that point. My experience with the HR personnel was very pleasant and gave me a really great feeling about the company.

I applied online and the process took 4 weeks - interviewed at Carefirst Blue Cross Blue Shield in May 2009.

Interview Details – Initial phone screening interview by HR, followed by a 1-hour interview with hiring manager and HR rep. They both worked off of the same sheet of paper asking set questions; no spontaneity or comfortable flow. After 'other candidates were interviewed,' received a call to come in a do a presentation. This consisted of just under an hour to review some materials and develop a briefing ... about 8 people of the 'team' attended and asked questions. After this, 1:1 interview with hiring managers manager. About a week or so later, an interview with the group's VP. A few days later, an offer was extended.
