Interviewed May 2011 in Vermillion, SD (took a day)
Applied when the store was completely understaffed. Received an invitation to interview with the store manager. Spent about 30 minutes during the interview process. Was very easy and actually kind of awkward as the manager seemed a bit aloof. Essentially it consisted of seeing if I was a complete weirdo or not (which doesn't really stop them from being hired, but ehhh..) and then me asking questions. Was offered the job about a day or two later.

My work hours were negotiated, very well. I am a mother of 2 small children and needed early hours, they had absolutely no problem working with me on that. I strongly advise anyone who is going to school, has small children, another job, or any other reason for needing certain hours, to apply @ Casey's.
Other Details
I applied In-Person and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview, a Presentation and a Background Check.

Interviewed Nov 2010 (took a day)
I live in a small town so when I came in there for the interview they already knew me by face. I felt completely at ease during the interview. The manager told me at the end of the interview that She had one more interview but not to worry I would more than likely hear back from her the next day. That night while at my other job I got a call from her and accepted the job right there. The people I work with are wonderful and nice and inderstanding. We all have each others back.

Interviewed May 2010 in Stanton, NE (took 2 days)
One job interview basicly explained they need asst. manager and wanted me to apply unfortunately didn't get but that didn't bother me as long as we got some good help. Cause we never could keep any good help.
My feelings are that the manager didn't want to keep you too long cause she wanted new blood (as it were).
Told me about benefits one week vacation after 6 months, which I thought that sounded good. Obviously I didn't make it to 6 months full time cause didn't stay that long. She basicly said alot of good things and didn't mean a thing she says. Cause then you seen the inner person which is mean and nasty.

Interviewed May 2010 (took 2 days)
I was called to set up an interview the next day. They were in dire need of a night person. The manager asked me a few questions about my availability day to day and hours wise. He set up the interview the next day. I came in and he showed me around the store. He told me what the job entailed and what it paid. Then he asked me if I wanted it. This is usually a bad sign at a interview if the employer has to sell you the job. But really it is a gas station job. Some nights you are the clerk and other nights you make pizza. The clerk position is customer service and the pizza job is mostly labor. I would advise anyone to have open availability. Night shifts seemed to be the ones that need filled the most. so your hours might be 2 to 11pm three days a week. The majority of the time you will start off part time and show you are worth being around full time through your performance. Some of the larger stores have floaters who work the busier hours just to get the side work done. The first three months is a probationary period so make sure you don't slack off or get your coworkers to hate you. That is a sure way to get let go or at least keep your part time status.
