Interviewed Feb 2012 in Chicago, IL (took a day)
Came in to the interview and immediately had to do this written test. Interview proceeded with a whole bunch of one-on-ones which made for a long and exhausting afternoon. Somewhere in the middle of it all I had to take this goofy "logic" test with a bunch of ridiculous questions. Stuff like: "You're the son of a doctor, but your dad isn't a doctor. How is this?" Or "Who's buried in Grant's Tomb?"
About half-way through the test, I just stopped answering the questions. Some genius then grills me on why I didn't answer them all, so I just told him I thought they were pointless for a programmer to have to answer. He game me some speech about how his pointless test was great at uncovering good programmers and then stormed out the door. Whatever.
At no point in the process did I ever have an opportunity to go over actual code with anyone. I didn't receive an opportunity to submit any samples, or to go over any working projects. Just a written test; which I'm sure I bombed due to the simple fact that I don't code with a pen and paper and it felt really awkward. I'm a very seasoned programmer, but I don't see any way that they could have ascertained this based on the structure of the interview process. I walked away feeling rather insulted by it. But it was great practice, and it taught me to ask A LOT more questions upfront before I commit myself to an entire afternoon without knowing what I'm in for.

Interviewed Feb 2012 in Saint Petersburg, FL (took 2 weeks)
I was given this lead by Tru-Bridge (recruiter), which I have been very happy with.
The interview was one on one with three separate individual. The last interviewer was in HR and she was very nice.It was very conversational. The subordinate interviewer (first one) liked to talk about his background a lot. Then basically asked me " Tell me about yourself? " The last interviewer was very dry and unreadable, but not unpleasant. The whole thing took about 1.5 hours.

Interviewed Feb 2011 (took 2+ weeks)
The recruiting staff was very nice. The whole process was pretty straight forward. My one issue would be at my 6th and final interview. During the interview I had asked the hiring manager if there was any reason he would not hire me - he danced around the question, not answering me. When I got the call from the recruiter I was told I was turned down for the job based on a facet of my experience the hire manager never asked me about.

Applied for a sales position online, landed an interview and never heard from them again. Didn't really want the position but it would have been nice to know what was up.
