    Interview

First spoke with Caterpillar at the Internship Fair at my school. Applied online for the position and was contacted about an on-campus interview that week. The process consisted of two 30 minute interviews. All of the questions were behavioral and they expect that you follow the S.T.A.R. approach.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ weekinterviewed at Caterpillar (Peoria, IL) in October 2014.

    Interview

The interview process consisted of targeted selection questions. There were three managers on the panel that asked me separate questions and I had to answer them in three stages. What did you do, How did you go about solving the problem/issue, and what was the result. They try to see who you really are and how you handle things by using this type of interview process. It is a very good process.
