I applied in-person and the process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at Century 21 Department Stores in August 2013.
Interview Details – I was called for an interview almost a month after I completed a job application. The office clerk had no idea who and why I was there; and I had to wait about thirty minutes until she got her head straight. In the mean time the HR manager assumed that I was late or did not show up for the interview. Once that was settled, the interviewer seemed annoyed and fustrated as if she was doing me a favor. Fortunately, she was summoned away and another person came in to finish up the interview. This person was much nicer and I was hired.
Interview Question – Nothing was asked that was difficult at all. I could tell the interviewers did not have alot of experience interviewing. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – No, I was informed what the company was giving me and that is it.
The process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at Century 21 Department Stores in August 2010.
Interview Details – The interview process was pretty standard, however, they were slow to get back to me and I had to go through 5 different interviews total. It would have been better if I met and was interviewed by the sets of executives and managers, at one time. The whole process felt somewhat disorganized.
Interview Question – Tell me what you did at your last job. Run me through an average day. View Answer
Negotiation Details – They were not very flexible in negotiations for my salary. I was able to get a little more extra to my salary, but nothing that made any significant difference.
