Interviewed May 2011 in Kansas City, MO (took a day)
I was contacted originally by Cerner a couple weeks after graduating college. I went ahead and agreed to a phone interview. After the first interview i was invited to the campus for 2 more. I turned down the last 2 interviews due to personal reasons. A few months later i re-evaluated and submitted my application online. I was contacted within a month (I had already found a new job by this time) and they invited me to take my final 2 interveiws. Traveled to KC MO (expenses paid by Cerner) and spend a few hours touring the place, learning the velocity program and my final 2 interviews. The interviews are mostly the basic HR interviews. The most technical question i had was regarding SQL. "Please explain the difference between a relational and non relational database." I was confused and stumbled a bit over the question but was able to figure out about 3rd Normal Form and that seemed to please her. I am an extreemely social person and used that to my advantage. I kept conversation fluent as well as used my technical experience from my previous position to promote myself. I was called 2 days later with a job offer.

Negotiation Details
Non negotiable. This type of offer is very generous considering my lack of experience just coming from college.
Other Details
I got the interview through a Recruiter and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview and a 1:1 Interview.
