Interviewed Aug 2010 in Austin, TX (took 4 weeks)
I recently interviewed with Charles Schwab for the Broker Trainee Program. The process started with a 30 minute phone interview with an HR representative. For this interview you should be prepared to discuss the history of Schwab as well as answer some behavioral based questions. Following this, I had to take an assessment test to determine the likelihood of me passing the Series 7 and 63 exams. After I passed, I had a 3-person panel interview on the phone. After reading the reviews on this site, I assumed I was done interviewing after this process. However, I was called today and they asked me to fly down there in order to meet with them. I'm sure this means I'll be doing another interview, seeing the facilities, etc. I'm excited, but I don't know what to expect for this interview besides possibly a background check.
