Declined Offer – Interviewed in Jun 2010 – Reviewed Feb 25, 2012
Interview Details – Had initial phone interviews, then in-person, found the office to be old, small and cheap for a company of this size, certain benefits you would get at other offices cannot be obtained in the office I interviewed for, salary offer was extremely low in comparison to other companies with the same job (initial discussion was for nearly 10,000 less than other companies, and ended up being 4,000 less than the next lowest offer for another company with the same job. Received an offer, but HR person refused to let me think about it for one day.
Interview Question – What did you do when problems arose in your last job? Answer Question
Reason for Declining – Only gave me 8 hours to accept or decline, wanted to think about it for one extra day as I had more than 1 offer for the same type of job, also people at the company looked unhappy
Other Details - I applied online and the process took 3 weeks.
Overall Neutral Experience
