Interviewed Mar 2012 (took 3 weeks)
My initial communications were through networking; upon application however Chesapeake's HR department very quickly picked up hand assumed control of he candidate process. The initial screening was a background call, completed over approximately 30 minutes. The initial interview was a behavioral based interview which, was challenging to come up with some of the scenarios, but the hiring manager was helpful and it did not feel adversarial at all. This lasted about 45-50 minutes. The manager was very good at communication between interviews.

Interviewed Jun 2011 in Edmond, OK (took 2 days)
I was called to a phone pre screening interview and asked to come in for a one on one interview. I interviewed with who would have been my direct supervisor and then also with her supervisor. I was asked generic interview question as well as some specific questions regarding investments.

Interviewed Jan 2011 (took a day)
This was the worst interview I have ever been on. I will take partial blame as I became incredibly nervous with really bad anxiety the day of the interview. Also, I had friends who interviewed for the same position (and essentially got job offers) whom all said it was not a bad interview and they barely had to talk at all. Knowing that before-hand, I still went in and realized shortly after that I said too much. All I really had to do was just sit there. I wanted to seem super interested in the job and the company, but my interviewers didn't have the the personality for that. They were the most boring, mudane people that I have ever met in my life. CHK should really re-consider who they have interviewing prospects. They were not people-friendly in the least.

Interviewed Mar 2011 in Oklahoma City, OK (took 2 days)
The interview was a very basic interview at first. Talked on the phone with the two main guys. Then I was asked to come in for a panel interview. A few days later I was made an offer. Overall it went very well and it was pretty basic.

Interviewed Jan 2012 in Oklahoma City, OK (took 2 weeks)
My first interview was a screening. I was asked basic personal questions about my skills strengths and weeknesses. The first question that was asked was what did I know about Chesapeake. I was asked what is the most difficult part of my job. I was asked what are two strengths and one weekness. I was asked why do I want towork for Chesapeake. The interviewer was nice and typed everything I said. There will be another phone interview today and possibly a face to face interview if this goes well. Sometimes interviewing with Chesapeake is a multistep process and sometimes it's a one time interview and then a decision, depending on the departmental needs.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in El Reno, OK (took 2 days)
Got the phone interview through an employment agency. The interview took 15 minutes and asked about 10 questions. A few about your current employer, past experiences, and what you look for in a potential employer, and what you knew about their company already. They said I should hear back in the next two weeks, never heard anything.

Questions about background, resume, and why this company. 3 people interviewed me in a small room. No technical questions but a lot of fit questions. Overall, it was an enjoyable interview and the interviewers were very easy to talk to.
