I applied online and the process took 2 months - interviewed at Chevron in June 2012.
Interview Details – I applied online and never heard anything for about a month. I almost forgot I had applied when the HR person called me and did a brief phone interview. They set up interview onsite and when I arrived I was met by 3 people who all seemed to read from a script while asking me questions. It was relaxed, and they were mostly interested in my past experience. There wern't any really hard questions. They told me they were planning on making a decision in about 2 week. 2 weeks later they called me back and offered me the job. There background check was very extensive. Took almost two weeks to complete. drug test, past employers.
