Interviewed Nov 2010 in Birmingham, AL (took a day)
Was informal and not very difficult. The interviewer was nice. He asked behavioral questions. The question was what was your greatest weakness. He gauged my response lightly and gave me great feedback.

Interviewed Jul 2010 (took 3 days)
Intereveiw process consisted of a telephone intevirew, followed by two panel intereviews. Questions ranged from very substantive concerning the actual job, to esoteric concerning management style, interpesonal styles, etc. The panel interviews were colaberative in nature and appeared to be designed to reach consensus on a particular candidate.

Interviewed May 2009 in Oakland, CA (took a day)
It was a panel interview with 6 people including the chief pilot, a line pilot, a mechanic, a dispatcher, and 2 others. They had all had the same sheet and went around each asking a question from it. They took notes as I answered, it looked like they were scoring me also. Everyone was very friendly and wanted to make sure they did not make me nervous

Interviewed Feb 2011 in Brea, CA (took 2 weeks)
I applied online and was contacted via email with a request to contact the supervisor. At that time, I did a phone interview. I was told that in few days some of the applicants would be contacted for an in-person interview and presentation. At the end of that period, I got an email that requested my telephone number (although it was on the resume). I left a phone message and sent an email and was rewarded with an interview appointment for a week later. I was interviewed by a panel of four, and did a presentation (requsted 3 - 5 minutes long). Questions in both interviews centered around specific skills and experience. In the panel interview, they had a list of predetermined questions they took turns asking. Everyone was quite friendly and professional. Feedback to my presentation was particularly positive. I felt good when I left, and was told that I would hear about the job "either way" by the end of the week. I didn't. This was the only negative about the interview. I had to confirm that someone else was offered the job by sending an email a week later. I was disappointed by that unprofessional behavior that seems common during this recession. It takes a few seconds to write a "no thank you" email. Please do!

Interviewed Oct 2010 (took a day)
I met Chevron recruiters at an engineering conference. The day of the career fair, I went to their booth and they scheduled me for a one-to-one interview 2 hours later. The interview was about 45 minutes long, and consisted of 6 or 8 behavioral questions. The recruiter was very friendly and

Interviewed Feb 2010 in Houston, TX (took a day)
Single on-site interview. I originally thought I was getting interviewed one on one. Upon getting there I found out that I was going to be grilled by a group for an hour. The questions were all behavioral and included some curve balls. I had time to ask questions at the end.

Interviewed Aug 2009 (took a day)
Was broght in by staffing company. Interviewed by three people. Job was advertised as marketing assistant but was in an industrial setting and consisted of basic administrative and saftey issues. Was given on-the-spot excel where was expected to perform tasks as they were called out to me by one of three people doing interview. Was highly stressful interview. Was asked what the phrase "Hair in the soup." might mean. The answer was that it means that details matter and that one goof can spoil an entire presentation. Needless to say, I didn't guess that.
Over all, a rather bizarre experience. The job would have paid really well though.
Interview Questions
When you do, in fact, create the pivot table using the half-a-bowling ball shaped mouse, be prepared to discuss how using the trackpad on the laptop would have been an ergonomical distaster and using the the mouse that may have been bigger than the actual laptop itself was infinitely better. Also be prepared for grudging admiration on your pivot table.
(I may be paraphrasing a bit)

Simple straight forward process. Called and picked a time. Interview was very laid back. Interviewers did not wear suits.
