Interviewed Jan 2012 (took 3 weeks)
Walked in recieved application, then left. Came back next day and luckly the manager was in, and he talked to me for a few minutes. Then about 1 week later an interview was scheduled (they called me). It was a group interview 3 people. Me and 2 College girls. It went well. When asked "Are there any queations?", I waited a second and then thanked the owner and the manager for their time (I was the first one to do so). They called back a week later and another interview was scheduled. It was 1 on 1 with the owner. I was hired after a few questions. Orientation 2 weeks later.

Interviewed Dec 2011 in Atlanta, GA (took 4 weeks)
I had a phone interview first. Then I had an office visit in Atlanta where I interviewed with 4 different people. I also had to take a test and they provided lunch, which was very nice. They really want to get to know you. They want to make sure you'll be a good fit with their culture. Be yourself.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in Sandy, UT (took 2 days)
The nice thing was one of the team members gave me a free drink while I waited to be interviewed. The down side is they interviewed me in the dining area with customers all around. I found that embarrassing and it was hard to hear. I found the manager very unprofessional. For example my interview was held in the winter time so when I said it was really cold out he said "yeah, no sh*t." I thought he seemed very bored and like he didn't care at all.

Interviewed Mar 2010 (took a day)
The process was very detailed - it was clear that CFA carefully evaluates every answer to every question. Heard through a source that, on an annual average, about 70,000 applications are submitted to be a CFA operator and only 100-150 are selected to become one. I wasn't offered an opportunity to continue the interview process - apparently it goes from completion of the application, phone interview, and then a 1-1 interview, and then the process of discussing the opportunity of being an operator is then discussed.

Interviewed May 2011 in Greenville, NC (took 2 days)
Well, I came in and met with the assistant manager. She was super nice and made me feel comfortable.
The 2nd day I met with the Owner who was also super nice! It no longer has the same owner because the new one 7 months later didn't rehire me after the interview. But with the 1st one being laid back and bubbly would help. With the new guy I'm not sure what he wanted to hear from me, I thought the interview with perfect. It was in the mall so its not big and it can be a fun and easy place to work.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in Virginia Beach, VA (took 2 weeks)
Applied online at SnagAJob.com...got an email within the hour from the operator saying to read the core values and that if I was still interested to let him know..so that same evening I emailed him back saying that I was still interested..didn't hear anything for 2 days then he sent an email and said to come to the open interview on Monday(4 days later)...went to the open interview and there were 15-20 other people there for the interview...it ended up being a group interview, they had us pair up and we had to get to know our partner for 1-2 minutes, then she came back and had us tell about the person we just talked to(name, where they are from, kids, previous jobs) we then switched and the other person got to know us. We were then split into 3 groups and were told that we were given $1000.00 how would we use that money to make the store a better place for customers, employees and appearance. After that we were told that if they were still interested in us that they would call us back by Wednesday at 5. (that group interview lasted 1 hour) Wednesday came and I didn't hear anything until 6:30, they asked me to come in for an interview on Friday...I went on Friday and they called me over 15 minutes after my scheduled interview and I was interviewed by 2 people at the same time..they just got to know me and they asked me your typical interview questions..this lasted 1 hour, at the end they asked if I could come back in the morning(Saturday) for an interview with the store operator. I agreed, he asked me almost the same questions as the 2 people before and he got to know me, we went over what my ideal schedule would be and how much I would be paid this lasted about 45 minutes. He then said to go home and discuss everything with my family and that he was going to meet with the previous 2 interviewers(he said that he thought I was the right fit he just wanted to make sure they agreed) He said that if I didn't hear anything by Tuesday to email him because I might have slipped through the cracks with the holidays approaching. I got a phone call Monday evening offering me a job...they said that it would be a 30 day trial and after 30 days they will give me an evaluation and then offer me a permanent job.

Interviewed Feb 2011 (took 2 weeks)
New store opening.
Over 1000 applicants, hired about 75.
3 Interview process - seems to be typical for any given CFA restaurant.
Two assistant managers and the owner/manager were part of the interview team.
They were fairly structured in the interviews and asked some detailed questions.
The people are exceptionally easy to talk to and to work for.
The work culture is positive but intense.
The company is very focused on labor control and definitely expect a hard days work from every member.

Interviewed Nov 2011 (took 6 days)
Already have a friend working for the branch, she told me they were hiring. I submit an application on Tuesday, got a call back on Thursday, scheduled and interview for Saturday.
Very, very pleasant manager, as soon as we sat down I told him how nervous I was and he told me about how he was once in the same spot.
Basically, talked about my future and my intentions in the company. I have no job experience, so it was pretty much about school and my family & hobbies.

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took 2 months)
Once I submitted my application, I got a phone interview a few days later. They told me they were offering a seasonal position and the interview was a month later. The seasonal working time was about 1 1/2 months after this interview. It was not a bad place, but it is a bad option if you need a job in your immediate future. If you need a seond job for a few extra hours then this is for you.
