The interview went very well. Asked about previous management experiences, gave me scenarios and how would I handle them, visions and goals as a manager, etc. I was interviewed by a different Store Manager at the time (and different store location). Filled out application, asked me a difficult time with an employee and how did I manage it, difficult time with a customer and how did I manage it. Previous retail experience; asked questions that reflects your personality and management style. Dress to the part. Look the Chico's look....they do not want to see you in a business suit. That would be way over dressed. If you look like a Chico's girl, a DOUBLE plus. Knowledge of product is always helpful.

Initially I interviewed with a manager who was doing the overall initial interviews for the entire district. I spoke with her once over the phone for an interview and then met her in person. During the interview I was asked to role play and select outfits for a specific type of customer. Then later that day I met with the DM to interview again. It was fairly laid back and I felt he appreciated my honestly. It took him a week to get back to me with an offer.

Applied online, received a phone call to come in for an interview. I arrived on time but had to wait for over twenty minutes for the manager to come out of the back room and interview me. It was apparent the manager disliked me from the moment she saw me. She was rude throughout the process

Quick interview with Store Manager who hadn't looked at my resume before I arrived for my interview. I was too old and too big to work for WH/BM - you have to be able to wear the clothes. She probably only interviewed me because I'm a Sales Lead at Chico's. WH/BM is under the same corporate umbrella.
