Interviewed Jul 2009 (took a day)
Filled out an application in the store and set up an interview the same day. The interview I had was horrible. The manager was obviously insane, but I still wanted to work for the company.

Interviewed Jul 2009 in Murfreesboro, TN (took 1+ week)
Interviewed by Assistant Manager. She used a standardized interview form: "Tell me about a time when..." you had a difficult customer, you didn't get along with a co-worker, etc. About a week later I had an interview with the Manager; same type interview. Offered job the same day, started same day.

Interviewed Nov 2009 (took 3 days)
Initially I interviewed with a manager who was doing the overall initial interviews for the entire district. I spoke with her once over the phone for an interview and then met her in person. During the interview I was asked to role play and select outfits for a specific type of customer. Then later that day I met with the DM to interview again. It was fairly laid back and I felt he appreciated my honestly. It took him a week to get back to me with an offer.

Interviewed Dec 2009 (took 1 week)
They initiated contact through Linkedin and we scheduled a phone interview.
The HR rep put me on speakerphone, so I had to keep asking her to repeat herself. She also demanded specific salary information. The words "negotiable" or "irrelevant" were unacceptable. If I failed to provide specifics, the hiring manager would not see my paperwork.
I asked what the salary range for the position is and she refused to answer. I did get enough information to determine that the job is actually near entry level, not for someone with 20 years experience.
