I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Chipotle in September 2015.
I had applied for a position at Chipotle online and received an email 2 days later telling me they were interested in talking to me, for me to come in for a interview they had already scheduled for me. The interview was for a week after I got the email. Going into the interview I had no idea it would be a group interview. When arriving for the interview I told a crew member I was there for a interview, she gave me a cup and told me to have a seat at the round table. After waiting with 4 other people for about 20 minutes, the guy interviewing came and sat down. He wasn't very friendly, seemed sort of upset he had to give the interview. He had all of us write our names & phone numbers down on a piece of paper from his notebook. After that the interview began. He asked us questions and we had to answer in front of the other people being interviewed. I felt like it wasn't quite fair to do an interview that way, seeing as all of us were extra nervous having to answer in front of our potential competition. The interview lasted about 30 mins and once we were done he shook our hands and send us all on our way. About 2 hours later I received an email stating I did not get the job

It was a fast face to face interview. I dressed semi-casually, jeans and a nice top (although it didn't matter since we had uniforms). Tee manager was nice, the interview lasted about 45 minutes, so it wasn't too bad.

The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Chipotle (New York, NY).
Applied online and got an email the next day for an interview the up coming Monday. It was a group interview and they asked common questions. When you go there make sure you know the 13 characteristics they look for in an employee. Try and answer all questions honestly because anyone can tell when you're making up BS. Got called for my second interview on Tuesday for the following Monday. That one was easier basically all they want you to do is come in and ask them questions. Got called on Wednesday saying I got the job. Whole process took about 2 and a half weeks

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Chipotle.
Overall easier than I thought it would be. Applied online got an email 2 days later inviting me to a job fair. I was nervous because this would be my first job and I'm 17 and I had no experience at all. I came in they gave me a cup to drink and told me to wait. There was about 5 others. At the end the manager came out and pulled us in an unexpected group interview. The manager had a great personality and it was very easy going. I smiled a lot and the next day got called in for the second interview to meet the crew. This interview was much more intense and you really have to do your best to stick out. I was with about 5 other people. The crew was great, they asked us a lot of questions. Make sure to do your research about the company. And smile ALOT. Most people in the interview acted all business like and had a serious face on. They are looking for enthusiastic employees with the 13 characteristics. So make sure you ask a lot of questions. It helped ALOT. They said they would email us if we got the job. Couple days later I got a call from the manager saying I was hired.I filled out all the paperwork online. I started 4 weeks ago.

I had two different interviews. The first was an unexpected group interview with two other candidates and two managers, they did most of the talking then asked us two questions. I got a call back for a second interview a week later where I met with the General Manager, it was more of an easygoing conversation than an interview, afterwards they gave me a tour and had me meet the team. A day later I got a call that I was hired!

I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Seal Beach, CA).
I was called in for a basic first interview a week in advance by a hiring manager and was sent an email reminder as well. When I arrived the morning of the interview, I was surprised to see about 11 other people there too. The interview was scheduled for 9:30 am, but had to wait 30 minutes until two young employees showed up to finally begin the interview, which lasted about an hour. I was displeased with the entire interview process due to the fact that they failed to even mention to me that it was going to be a group interview. I found their tardiness to be very unprofessional. During the interview I felt like I could not say the answers I wanted to say because the other people being interviewed had the same answers as me, (this is why I feel one on one interviews are more effective).

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Chipotle (Fort Lauderdale, FL).
The interview process was very disorganized. we were asked to write down our names, numbers and work availability and had to wait to be put into groups. although there weren't enough staff members to interview everyone so there was an even longer wait. the process took about an hour.
