Interviewed Nov 2010 (took a day)
Received a call from the hiring manager two days after putting in my application. An interview was scheduled for the following day. The interview took about thirty minutes, and I was asked to fill out a paper form of the application then as well. After the interview, I was told that I had been selected for the position, but needed to be approved by the store manager due to my age (was only 17). The hiring manager told me that she would call me the following day and provided me with paperwork. I didn't receive the call, so I called in that night and was told to come on the following day for training.

Interviewed Feb 2012 (took 1 week)
The interview was very laid back , so I was not as nervous. They asked questions like are you willing to do this or that .... are you willing to work weekends .... etc ... they put in a background check and I was hired a week later.

Interviewed May 2009 (took a day)
I walked into the store with a current employee who was also a good friend of mine and submitted my application to the manager. She wrote "nice smile" on my application and told me they would call me if they were interested in interviewing. I got a call a few days later and came back into the store to interview with the owner. They offered me a cup to get myself soda or water and I sat down at one of the CEC tables with her. She asked me basic questions like why I wanted to work there and told me that you had to act like one of the Disney princesses at Disneyland at this job. She asked me to try to sell her one of their food products as well, so it's best to take a look at the menu before your interview.

Interviewed Nov 2009 in Webster, TX (took 2 weeks)
Applied online, got a call 2 weeks later for interview. Was a minor at the time so had to have parents permission for the job, but he just asked a few questions and the hours I was willing to work. IF you can work 4-6 days a week, and most closing, you will get hired. The orientation was a breeze, the training was fast and swift, and the skill test you will take will be provided with the answers from the team 2 trainer for the most part. Didn't learn much from training but most of the things you need to know will be picked up as you work. The office is small, but management usually doesn't stay in the office. On slow days, the workers are relaxed and just standing around, but on busy days you are moving from one spot to another.

Interviewed Mar 2011 in Garden Grove, CA (took 4 weeks)
I was contacted by a local Chuck e cheese recruiter in Garden Grove CA for a game tech job had a 40 minute phone interview, Then was askes to go online and take 2 skills test. the lady called back 2 days later to say i passed the test with flying colors great job. The next step is to have a one on one interveiw with a local district manager, I was asked if I could drive 30 miles to the interveiw no problem. Met with the district manager at 9.00AM he said hi and told me he was very busy today and it would be quick about 20 minutes love my skills for the job, the next step the lady would call to say how it went. lady called 2 days later and asked me to have another interview with Tim. set it up for 2 or 3 days later. This one was past LAX airport no problem. Went to interview at 9.00am waited until 9.30 for him to show up. Interview went good with the manager and took about 45 minutes, he asked me how the other interview went and i said great but the manager seamed to be pressed for time. A couple of days went by i get a call from the chuck e lady ans was asked to go to see the first manager for another interview he had more time to do a better job interviewing me. When i was given the run around to get the job i could see the bad management that they had. I hope this helps any one who is looking to go to work for chuck e cheese.
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
After looking at the company reviews online i was not the person that they needed to have working for them, low ratings and bad management ! Got the run around for a very low paying job.

I basically walked in and asked if they were hiring, they said yes. The manager asked me to have a 2 minute conversation with a stranger to prove that I have communication skills and then he offered me a job.

Interviewed Sep 2008 in Los Angeles, CA (took 4 days)
Per the site guidelines, here is what happened on my interview. I took a skills test online. Then I had a great interview with a 20 year employee who told me it was a slam dunk. After getting "new-hire" paperwork in the mail, along with a drug test form, I had another interview with someone who asked me why I don't go back to my last job---very inappropriate. That's not how an interview was supposed to be like. So, after I received the new-hire paperwork from TX, I had to hunt down HR who tells me that sending that out before making an offer is common. All this after driving 150 miles to get to multiple interviews. This site is supposed to let all the truths come out. SO let it come out for any prospective employee to see.
