Interviewed Sep 2010 (took a day)
The initial application was on-line and included a video which described the daily duties of an SSR. After a few days, I was contacted via phone call to set up a one-on-one interview with one of the Service Training Coordinators. After the initial interview, I was interviewed by one of the Service Managers with questions that were basically similar to the first interview but a little more in depth. The final interview was with the General Manager and the questions were again similar and more in-depth. Customer service experience is helpful but not a requirement.

Interviewed Jul 2011 in Ontario, CA (took 6 weeks)
I applied online and was contacted three days later. The HR manager set up an interview for the following day which was a Friday. I first interviewed with the HR manager who asked questions from a worksheet then I took a personality test. The questions were generic and concerned about past work experience. I then sat in the lobby for half an hour and interviewed with the service manager. Again, generic typical question any interviewer asks.
He went ahead and scheduled me for the ride-along with one of their current employees on the following tuesday. The ride-a-long was 8 hours long and I just filled out some paperwork afterwards.
4 weeks have gone by and I have not been contacted or sent an email. I called and emailed both the hr manager and service manager for updates on my application. They never answered or called back. I was told I would be paid for the ride a long. I still havent received a check.
In conclusion, Cintas is a good company to work for but it was a total WASTE OF MY TIME in my experience. The communication with this company is terrible.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in Chelmsford, MA (took 3 weeks)
Found out that me current company was closing and needed to find a job with benefits for my family, unemployment wasn't going to cut it. Applied online, I took over a week for anyone to get back to me. When I was finally contacted spent less then 5 minute on the phone with the manager or HR person, not sure. Was told I would be called back to arrange an in person interview. That was a Monday got a call on Friday to come in that day or would have to wait until the following Wednesday. Couldn't make it in their 3 hour window due to current work restriction so plan to get out of work early the following Wednesday. I got there 5 minutes early and told someone would be with me shortly, 20 minutes later I was brought into a conference room and waited 10 more minutes for someone to show up. Guy was pleasent enought but didn't seem to have interview many people and didn't have a clear idea of what to ask for the position. That took a total of 10 minutes and was told he wanted to pass me off to the next level. The HR girl came in and said the GM was with someone and I was set up on a computer to take an IQ/personallity test(kind of a joke). waited for about 10 minutes after I was done for her to come back and was told the GM was still unavailable, asked if I could wait, I couldn't. Made arrangement to meet him after work the following day. Didn't look like the most confident person, has a nervous "sway" when he was standing there talking to me. Seems more relaxed seated. He was more prepared then the guy the day before. I was offered the position with expectation I had a clean background, I do. Then waited 7 days to say they would like to send me for a DOT test and drug screening. At this point I couldn't wait any longer and took a job elsewhere.

Interviewed Sep 2009 (took 4 weeks)
Detailed online application. Received phone call for debreif of initial interview process. Initial one on one interview with service manager at one location followed by another at another location. Then interviewed with branch manager. Ride along interview. Several written exam/ personality profile and abilities test for different departments such as sales, service and customer service. Very thorough interview process. Made me feel like I was the right man for the job. I already knew that. Be prepared to give experience and examples of situations they throw out at you showing your ability to handle various situations. I beleive I interview well but could be difficult for some if not prepared.

Interviewed Sep 2010 in Garden Grove, CA (took a day)
The women I interviewed with was very candid. She honestly said that the turnover was huge for this position because 40-60 stops in a daily shift was hard in So Ca with traffic being unpredictable. Also, most SSR's were not comfortable "charging back" for damamged uniforms and this is usually what gets people written up or fired. She never said this was a commissioned position, she just said it was $14/hr during training.

Interviewed Jan 2010 in Jessup, MD (took 5 days)
The interview process went smoothly. Interviewed by 3 seperate people. Both of the service managers interviewed me first, then the office manager conducted an interview. It seems that one of the objectives was to try to convince me this was not the job I wanted and I had to determine if I thought this was right for me.
