one on one interview with manager. The depths and difficulty of the job were not fully disclosed. Once you are hired, you receive very little training. The new hires are given about 6 months to learn the basics of PDI/RMS and how to provide customer service to Accunts payable/store accounting/vendor relationships, the ability to understand sales plans and establish strong working relationships with category managers and poc's of the vendors.

no negotiation. compensation is standard at 12.00 to start and provided the economy is not completely in shambles, one receives a .30 raise each year.

I got the interview through a Staffing Agency and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview.

Posted through Monster and received a call from HR manager. Brief telephone interview and asked to come in a few days later for a skills/personality test as well as 1:1 interview with hiring supervisor. Was called a week later and offered a position and a formal letter was mailed.

store manager called setup an interview time....very friendly and forward about what he expects from me and what my job consists of....we talked about the hours i can and cant work.....i did some computer work with my information and had to get my Food Handlers card.....background check took 2-3 days......i enjoyed working with my first manager and co-workers....store was clean and employees had a great relationship with customers

i was able to negotiate my salary because i have recent customer service skills....i feel that i still dont make what im worth working for circlek....so if you think that you will get alot less that you deserve then dont comprise go for another position in the company

telephone interview with stupid questions that did not even apply to the position i was interested in trying to apply for. seems a bit disorganized and not consistent in their interview process. future interviews need to be more personal and less in personal at the level they try to obtain your info without getting to know who they are interviewing with no results given to help you succeed in your search for a job.
