Interviewed Mar 2008 in Paris (France) (took 2 weeks)
Initial contacted via the recruiting team (outsourced by Cisco but working full time for Cisco)
First phone interview of about 1 hour. First question is whether I am just looking at the market or really looking at changing job. The recruiter asks few questions about the resume but mainly asks about current job and what I'd like to do next. Also he is explaining the Cisco recruiting process (about 7 interviews and which people from which department)
Second interview was face2face with the recruiter: about 1.5 hours, going all the words of the resume, basically verifying that it is consistent.
Third interview was face2face with an SE manager. More informal, he was trying to see how I could describe technical challenges and capacity of drawing and explaining scenarios using a whiteboard.
Fourth Interview was with a CSE, very technical interview
Fith was supposed to be with the Director of the department. I that point I had already signed with another company so I had to stop at this stage.
