Interview Details – I had two rounds of phone interviews followed by a multi-stage in-person interview session. The phone interviews were standard stuff. The in person interviews were well thought out and definitely more than a formality - some interviewers were fairly challenging. Overall the people were great and the impression I got was that Cisco is a vibrant, churning environment where an industrious and enterprising person can find a rewarding niche to shine in.

Interview Details –
The recruiter called me for a position that was very detailed that needed a finance person with marketing skills. I did have some of the skill sets. Finally, after 2 weeks, she got the manager to talk to me via the phone.
I was called in for a group interview and meet with different folks face-to-face. However, the hiring mgr did not show up. Heard that there were many candidates for the position and he did not have the time. I felt deflated. Did not hear back for 2 weeks after that, not until I requested feedback. The position had been filled.
