    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Citi (Los Angeles, CA) in February 2015.

    Interview

The interview was fairly quick as it was three phone interviews (internal hire). Not many questions regarding knowledge of products and general corporate finance as I came with solid references. There were three separate phone interviews in which we talked more about my fit rather than my skill set.

    Interview Questions

    • Interviewers asked many behavioral questions regarding my fit with the current team. Also asked about my previous work experience and how it relates to the new position I was coming into. Questions regarding Citi's products and services were also asked by the interviewers.   Answer Question

    Interview

Couple of interviews to get a feel for you and your fund admin aptitude. Can't BS and can't get flustered. Since I applied for a contract position, I interviewed directly with the senior VP. Had to have a pocket face the entire time. He caught me on some BSs so it took them a while to contact me back. Just have to go in there with a positive attitude and don't lie.
