Interviewed Mar 2012 in New York, NY (took a day)
I had two back to back 45 minute phone interviews with a technology director. They asked mostly behavioral questions, although they did intertwine a few technical and "brain teasers." The first interviewer was good and really made me feel comfortable. My second interviewer was especially nice and spent a while talking about his experience in Citi and what an intern is expected to do.

Very good, quick HR people. Interview was 2 half hour individual interviews on campus, then one week later in the headquarters, same thing. Mostly behavior questions, people were concerned with personality fit and longevity with company.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in New York, NY (took 4+ weeks)
The first round was a 30 minute 1:1 interview with a quant director at Citi. Be prepared for about two simple math questions and a bit more behavioral / fit questions. The final round has about 7 interviews in the course of a day, some mathematical, others entirely behavioral. The whole process is about 1 month.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in New York, NY (took 2 days)
Fairly standard bulge bracket investment banking interview. Technical questions were significantly easier than most banks - focusing on very basic things like "What is a DCF" or "How would you value a company" without digging into the details. Seemed like there was a huge emphasis on "Why Citi".
Be prepared to understand why you want the job and be able to express how much you want it. Citi seems to be focused more on people and not preparation (i.e. "fit" questions and not technical questions), so it's significantly easier than most interviews so long as you have a good narrative.

Reason for Declining
Not a top tier BB bank, and their business seems to be in lux. Perhaps if their outlook improves it might be a good place to start.

Interviewed Feb 2010 in New York, NY (took a day)
The group of candidates were interviewed in an auditorium. There were about 30 interviewers and 30 candidates. Each candidate had 3 20 minute interviews with 3 different people from 3 different groups. Two directors and one associate conducted my interview. All three focused primarily on fit and desire to be in the industry. The later was displayed through knowledge of recent deals and previous work experience.
