Overall Neutral Experience Interviewed and No Offer

Interviewed Mar 2009 (took 4 weeks)

Staffing agency contacted me by phone then emailed me details of the position. Had separate phone interviews with two people in the agency - one junior, one senior. Lots of scheduling and rescheduling, senior one even forgot a scheduled call. Worst agency I've dealt with, and reflected poorly on Citrix at the time.

Finally had a phone interview with the hiring manager, then a face-to-face interview, then lastly a presentation over the phone. Manager was very professional, very personable and very smart. Enjoyed the experience, and improved my impression of Citrix. I was pretty sure I wouldn't get the job, but had no regrets.

As expected, the agency neglected to confirm I didn't get the job - I had to contact them.
