Interviewed Apr 2012 (took a day)
I interviewed with 8 people, i.e. the Human Resources Director, two paralegals, and five attorneys. It was an informational and personal interview based on one-to-one conversation. They provided information concerning the firm and the position and gave me the opportunity to ask questions of them as well. The process took approximately 3.5 hours.

Interviewed Mar 2012 in New York, NY (took a day)
I attended a paralegal recruiting event at the firm's NYC office. It was the first such event that the firm had coordinated. It consisted of a series of 20 minute interviews, with each person taken through one by one. There were approximately 20 applicants, meaning some people had to wait around until 5 (the process began at 1) to even begin. Luckily, I was one of the first taken through. The first interview was with the two paralegal recruitment coordinaters from HR, both of which asked questions toward my willingness to give my 24/7 focus to the firm - no questions were ever asked about my personality, interests, strengths, etc. The next interview was with two of the current paralegals, who asked me if I had any questions about the position. For the next interview, I was taken to speak with a current associate. However, he either forget about the interview or simply didnt care, and after waiting in a conference room for 30 minutes, the paralegal who escorted me went to get him. He barely said hello. The entire thing was completely unprofessional. Ironically, I found him the most interesting person I had met with all day. The last portion was a language skills test, which consisted on translating a document from French to English. It was not difficult. Upon completion, I was presented with a rainbow slinky, custom printed with the firm's logo on the side. I could not make this up. I was not extended an offer, which is all the same, because I would not have accepted. I recently accepted at an equally prestigious NYC firm that was much more welcoming and professional.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in New York, NY (took a day)
They are a heavily international firm. You are more likely to get the call back if you know a foreign language or come from a diverse background. One of the partners chose to test my fluency in the foreign language I listed on my resume, I didn't do so well....so be warned.

Interviewed Nov 2010 (took a day)
After a 20 minute phone interview, I went into the office where I met with the hiring director as well as about 4 paralegals. It was very informal and they were very friendly. They asked me to walk them through my resume as well as what I saw myself doing 5 years from now. They asked no questions on what I knew about the firm itself.

Interviewed Jun 2010 in New York, NY (took a day)
i met with the manager of the corporate practice. she seemed friendly, and very enthusiastic about the company, but talked a lot, and barely let me get a word in. she barely asked me any questions so i'm not sure how the office comes about decisions in it hiring process. met with two other firm members who were very friendly and laid back
