CoStar Group Digital Imaging Manager Interview

Interviewed Feb 2012 in Washington, DC (took 1 week)

I had a phone call the day after my application was submitted. Typical phone interview...here are some of the questions:

Why Costar?
Why are you interested in commercial real estate?
Do you have experience in ____?

It was a little hard to get in touch with the after phone interview after I was asked to come in for a 1:1.,However, since I was coming from out of town for the interview they were accommodating to my availability. My interviewer was very nice and friendly. Most of the interview was spent with her discussing the position and the duties depth. I had alot of questions regarding setting up new projects, initiatives, ideas. I was asked if my current manager knew I was looking for work and if asked what she'd say about me. Tricky question! She gave me a brief tour of an area where researchers worked.

 The building is extremely nice, with an impressive lobby featuring a huge wall that doubles as a screen displaying commercial properties. It's a new building so there's alot of things still being installed and set up. Lots of little shops up and down L street.

My advice, stay calm, use alot of work examples relating to the position, Smile alot, and let your personality show.
